Seedland's Economical Bluemix Blend Contains

A Kentucky Bluegrass Variety (see below for varieties)
+ Morning or Shinning Star Perennial ryegrass for fast establishment
+ Creeping Red Fine Fescue for shade areas.

Bluemix is one of Seedland's best blue grass lawn mixes.. with an improved Bluegrass for turf type lawns. Excellent for use in transition area and Northern USA Kentucky Bluegrass areas. This grass seed mix is specially designed for new lawn establishment. Blue Mix will contain one of the following Bluegrass seed varieties Blueridge, Argyl, Baron, BlueStar, and Kenblue which are good turf-type, drought tolerant Bluegrass varieties. Bluemix also includes one or more of the following turf type perennial ryegrasses Integra, Peak, Sonata, Morning Star or Shining Star Perennial ryegrass and Lustrous or Boreal creeping red fescue for shade tolerance.

Actual Seed Varieties in BlueMix Bluegrass Blend*

• 50% Blueridge, Argyl, BlueStar, Ken Blue, Limousine or Baron Kentucky Bluegrass
• 40% Perennial Ryegrasses selected from one or more of the following Peak, Sonata, Wind Dance, Integra, Morning Star or Shining Star
• 10% Usually Lustrous or Boreal - Creeping Red Fescue

We have 2 Quality Seedland Bluegrass Seed Mixtures

Each is a mix of Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass and Fine Fescue for "sun and shade" uses. Perennial Ryegrass provides for a fast establishment, while the bluegrass fills in later. The Creeping Red Fescue provides for shade tolerance.

SEEDLAND BLUEGRASS MIXTURES SEEDING RATES:

• 25 lb. BAG will seed approximately 7-8,000 sq. feet
• New Lawns: 3 to 5 lbs per 1000 sq. ft.
  One acre requires 135 lbs. acre.
  (110-330 lbs.@Hectare)
• Overseeding: Apply at about 1/2 rate - 1-2 lbs. per 2000 sq. ft.
